Starlane
Support
Starlane is a portrait game on the web, iPhone, and iPad. Practice is free. The score is distance. There is no account and no prize.
How to fly
Steer and jump. Stay on the lane.
Gray slips. Green changes speed. Red burns. Blue refills.
On the website you can use the on-screen controls or the keyboard. The iPhone and iPad app is joystick only: drag to steer, hold to jump.
Flights
Practice does not spend a flight and does not change the board. One free scored flight is available on each device. A longer official flight can take the throne.
The website sells one-time packs with Stripe: $1 for 3 flights, $3 for 12, and $6 for 30. The iOS app sells the same packs through the App Store: $0.99 for 3, $2.99 for 12, and $5.99 for 30. They are consumable. There is no subscription. Unused flights expire after 2 hours.
A store purchase is added after the server verifies the receipt. If the flights are missing, force-quit StarLane and open it again. Practice still runs without a purchase.
Clips and names
A death clip is made on the device from your own flight, up to 15 seconds. It is not uploaded. The name you enter is shown on the public board when an official flight is saved, and on challenge links you share.
